Hermoso libro de estudio espiritual que ense�a que el camino hacia el amor y la paz interior es a trav�s del perd�n, Se lo recomiendo a quienes quieran de verdad ver la vida de una manera mas f�cil y bonita de vivirla, que quieran encontrar tranquilidad interior, liberarse de estar criticando y juzgando a otros, a perdonarse as� mismo como perdonar a otros por cualquiera sea la raz�n de lo que le haya pasado o lo que le hayan hecho. Muchas personas famosas que estaban perdidas en las drogas o en otros problemas han logrado un bell�simo nivel de comprensi�n del mundo y se han convertido en portadoras de mensajes de amor y perd�n. Vale la pena estudiarlo, no es f�cil de interpretarlo algunas veces, pero si hace el esfuerzo o busca grupos de ayuda, sera grande la recompensa.

I could read this book over and over again and get something out of it every time!

I've been through this book twice, both on my own and then as part of a small group. It is excellent, what I liked it how it addresses core issues that affect people every day. These are issues that women tend to particularly struggle with (though I'm sure many men do as well)--issues such as body image, dwelling on the "if onlys" and "what ifs" and other thoughts that make us anxious. I liked the way she wove scripture and personal stories throughout the book, and how scripture memory, prayer, and meditation or journaling were emphasized in the accompanying study guide. It's well worth reading--and reading again

I loved this book. It really was so helpful and a wonderful read! So many times in life we let anxiety rule over us. I think it's important to learn to trust in the Lord that he will take your anxiety away. We need all the help we can get I believe. This book was really helpful during college especially. I feel that you are finding yourself and it's really important to make sure you have a solid foundation. A book cannot take your anxiety away, but it can definitely help with learning how to deal with it in a Godly way and giving all your worries to God.

This book is a good guide to show you where to look in the bible to find peace & contentment. This woman has done wonders in spreading GOD's word. She really is just telling personal stories of women most of americans will never meet & thank GOD will never walk in their shoes. But, just once in a book that claims it can teach/tell you about anxiety it would cover how women can heal from abuse: child, rape, beatings........ You can quote passages but how can you apply them?

Artist, dancer and model Marta Becket was born in 1924. As a child in New York City, she saw her first ballet and decided on the spot that she would become a dancer, no matter what. Marta Becket: A RARE FLOWER OF RADIANT BEAUTY.

It always seems that the people who are very quiet and soft spoken are the ones who have the most to say. They only have to whisper, for you to hear them loud and quite clear. Marta Becket is herself a tribute to that very rare individual who has heeded to the calling of their inner voice, and without question proceeds down the unknown path which has been laid before them. Marta Becket finds joy in the creation of her art, rather then seeking the elusive rewards that art might possibly bestow on you, if it finds you worthy. Rather then exploit her art, and as is usually the case, art ends up exploiting you, Marta Becket shares herself through her art, which amongst other things includes her love of dance, painting, music, and probably so much more than I could even begin to guess at. Before I recommend Ms. Becket's book, "To Dance on Sands," I would first recommend that you see the documentary, "Amargosa," (Sold on DVD and VHS exclusively at this time through, "Carlson Films.") about Marta Becket and her vision that she has created and worked hard on in, (of all places), the middle of the Death Valley desert in California, where dreams, and water are scarce, and inspiration is discovered by only those very few individuals who have such an abundance of life within themselves, they have more than enough to share with others. Second, you simply must see Marta Becket live and in person, dance her dance to the celebration of individuality, the joy of creation, and most important, her inspired dance to the spirit of life that each and every one of us shares with each other on this planet. The Path

Like Poet Stanley Kunitz, who recently died at the age of 100, Marta Beckett, at 82, is further proof that the creativity is a sustaining life force.
From dancer, painter, prop designer, chorus girl, soloist, an owner of the Amargosa Opera House, her path is inspiring and also reminds us that every life experience and skill is used in creating art.

Though only a small portion of the book is devoted to her years at Amargosa, the rest of her life story in NYC makes for a compelling read. Amargosa, the academy award nominated film does her years in the desert so fully, that while one wishes there were more about these year in the book, it all balances out.

Though not the most well-written book, it is one of the most fascinating stories of a dancer's single-minded determination to fulfill her dream throughout her life; then, her unimaginable skill, artistry, and ability to build a theatre in the desert in a town with single digit population. She even painted an audience on the walls so she would have someone to dance for. Even after she could no longer stand and dance, she sat on a chair and "danced" with her feet. Her remarkable story was shown on PBS. Marta Becket, the dancer, wrote the book.

Baljekar, the U.K.'s answer to Madhur Jaffrey (she has numerous bestsellers to her name, as well as a television show and restaurant), arranges 150 flavorful recipes by festival and touches on all the important Indian holidays, including Diwali, Eid-Ul-Fitre and Christmas, representing the country's main religions of Hinduism, Islam and Christianity. Readers will be hard-pressed to find most of these dishes at any Indian restaurant; while the foods use common Indian spices like cumin and coriander, the collection offers a good opportunity to explore some of India's lesser known dishes, such as Lentil Fritters with Chilli, Ginger and Curry Leaves, served during the South Indian festival of Pongal; and Fragrant Pigeon Peas with Seasonal Vegetables, made during Durga Puja. Baljekar's interpretation of Indian Christmas is notable for its uniqueness; she features dishes like Stuffed Breasts of Chicken in Almond Sauce, and Garlic and Rosemary Naan with Truffle Oil. Alas, the book's subtitle is misleading: these recipes are laborious and require numerous ingredients. But for grand occasions when readers want to impress with uncommon food, Baljekar's book fits the bill. (May 15)

I now have two of Mridula's recipe books. My family and I rate each recipe as I make so many I get them confused. Almost without exception they rate 7/10 or more. Her recipes are easy to follow and such fun to make. Above all they taste fantastic.

A good starters guide

This is a good starter's guide. Its to the point and helps you understand about things
that one needs to be careful about while investing in Real Estate.
It teaches you in detail about what property to buy and how to figure out your costs.
I presonally found the property inspection cheklist to be very useful.
It also gives you a good insight about how to deal with contractors.

All in all a good buy! Wonderful job Dave!

real estate investing strategies and techniques

David Lindahl`s book real estate investing has a lot of helpful knowledge, secrets and tips for people who are either starting out or don`t know how to invest in rental real estate. The book teaches his chunker strategy of rehabbing single family houses and flipping them for chunks of money to put down on multi-families and 20- 40 unit apartment complexes and then 100 units apartment complexes. I like the inspection chapters and maintenance and repairs and what to look for when you inspect a property and are walking through it too see any problems and what needs to be repaired or installed or fixed like appliances, electrical, plumbing, boilers, heating the house and air conditioning or painting the property and hiring contractors and other repairmen. People who want to own rental property will greatly benefit from reading this book.

I have always been a fan of Dave Lindahl's writing style. As with his other books, he wrote this new paperback in a way that makes it easy to implement the investing strategies he discusses. I was able to buy a copy before it was available on Amazon and would recommend anyone reading this to grab their own copy. Joel
